This city likes to play up its vibrant culture and nightlife, while leaving unspoken the real reason a lot of people visit: the fox escorts. For whatever reason, it became a popular destination among those who had been transformed into foxes and were looking to profit from their new bodies, which also drew the clients. No one tends to acknowledge it openly, but any fox girl casually shopping or buying coffee triggers a lot of knowing glances the moment they leave the store. But what else can they do? They'd be followed by stigma wherever they were.

The issue only compounds when you consider that not all of them are well-past the early stages of their transformation, when others are still able to contract it from them. It's a roll of the dice on these ladies...and of course that's why some of the Johns pursue them. But it only increases the population in an already-overcrowded market, leading to a race to the bottom...
