Simb thought he hit the jackpot when he found the "Belt of Many Outfits". To his shock, rather than provide unlimited disguises, he's now cursed to become the clothing of his fellow adventurers. On the bright side, he provides them enchantments to get the job done, but on the down side, he can't be take off or changed back until the quest he changed for is complete. I don't know if Simb is an Ass man, but for the foreseeable future, for his sake he better be!
