Sofie: In the middle of the Night, act I

Měli jsme vernisáž a Sofie přijela. Byla to hodně hektická doba a když tam potom stojíte se skleničkou vína v ruce, barák plný lidí, je to skvělý pocit. Takový naplnění a úleva, že teď už bude klid. Bavíte se tu s jedním, tu druhým, je to krásný. A pak tam stojíme se Sofií a ona povídá: "No, už se těším na focení!"
A my: "No to by bylo fajn, kdy ho uděláme?"
A Sofie: "Ale vždyť jsme domluvení na příští týden!"
???
"Aha..."

Velký štěstí, že jsme si to připomenuli. Protože to nakonec bylo hodně velkolepý a nechtěl bych takovou akci promeškat.

Tak tady máte první set!

We had a vernissage, and Sofie came. It was a hectic time, and when you finally stand there with a glass of wine in hand, the place packed with people, it’s an amazing feeling. A sense of fulfillment and relief that now, at last, things will calm down. You chat with one person, then another—it’s wonderful.

And then we’re standing there with Sofie, and she says, “Well, I’m really looking forward to the photoshoot!”
And we go, “Oh, that would be great! When are we doing it?”
And Sofie: “But we’re already scheduled for next week!” ???
“Aha…”

Good thing we got that reminder! Because in the end, it turned out to be a spectacular event, and I wouldn’t have wanted to miss it.
