Gabriela Ch.: Under Stars

Gábinka je zdravotní sestřička. Nesmírně milej a empatickej člověk. A umí být tiše a užít si to.

Měli jsme ten den už po jednom náročným focení a před sebou další. A mezitím jsme jen seděli na chalupě v obýváku a nic neříkali. Nekoukali jsme do mobilů, to není ticho, to je jen tichej křik. Ne, prostě jsme seděli a byli potichu. A pak jsme šli nahoru do ateliéru a udělali tenhle krásnej set.

Občas je příprava na focení hodně náročná. Vyrobil jsem si kdysi takovej velikej paraván, dá se potáhnout vším možným, může to být stěna nebo i trochu klec. Už jsme na něm měli třeba zrcadla nebo igelit... A já jsem si vymyslel, že ho teď potáhnu černým papírem, udělám do něj malé dírky a přes ně budu svítit na modelku. Nápad super. Nedošlo mi, kolik těch děr bude potřeba. S akuvrtačkou v ruce jsem se pustil do díla a po půl hodině jsem měl asi tak deset procent plochy. A neměl jsem ruce. Naštěstí bylo dost času, tak jsem to vrtal na etapy asi tři dny. Těch děr je asi milion.

Původní plán byl, fotit to v prádle. Ale to jsme jaksi zapomněli zabalit. No, myslím, že takhle je to o dost lepší. ?

Příště vám povím vtipnou historku o Gábince a štěňátku. Ale to až v srpnu. Máme totiž s touhle krásku nafoceno docela dost a zatím jsme toho na Patreon moc nedali. Takže v srpnu si ji užijete!

Gábinka is a nurse. An incredibly kind and empathetic person. And she knows how to be quiet and enjoy it.

We had already finished one difficult photoshoot that day and had another one ahead of us. In the meantime, we just sat in the living room at the cottage and didn’t say anything. We weren’t looking at our phones, because that’s not silence, that’s just silent screaming. No, we just sat and were quiet. And then we went upstairs to the studio and made this beautiful set.

Sometimes, preparation for a photoshoot is very challenging. I once made a big screen, which can be covered with all sorts of things, it can be a wall or even a kind of cage. We’ve had mirrors or plastic sheets on it before... And I came up with the idea of covering it with black paper, making small holes in it, and shining light through them onto the model. Great idea. I didn’t expect how many holes I would need. With a cordless drill in hand, I got to work, and after half an hour, I had about ten percent of the surface done. And I had no hands left. Fortunately, there was plenty of time, so I drilled it in stages over about three days. There must be about a million holes.

The original plan was to shoot in lingerie. But we somehow forgot to pack it. Well, I think this turned out much better. ?
