Synposis: Leo White, a boy raised by his single mother after his parents’ divorce in his childhood, lost her in the third year of middle school—murdered by an unknown assailant.

At the crime scene, what appeared to be methamphetamine ("ice") was discovered. Leo had never seen such a thing in his home and pleaded his innocence to the police, but they didn’t believe him. Instead, they suspected him, subjecting him to brutal interrogations.

Though eventually released, dark rumors about his mother and himself spread through their neighborhood, making life unbearable. With no one else to turn to, Leo was taken in by his late mother’s only remaining relative—his aunt, the wife of his deceased uncle.
