ALMOST THERE!

Hey guys!
Did you know that I got married last month? :D The process was a bit of a rollercoaster, but we still kept things simple actually. Marrying was a logical step for us, since it makes being together so much easier and helps avoiding getting separated every 3 months due to the visa expiring, since my wife is from another country. So, even though marrying it's not something we think is that important in life (what really matters is that you are happy with each other) it was definitely a good choice for our future and we are happy that we finally did it!
So yes, January was quite filled with distractions and paperwork, but it didn't stop me from making tons of progress...which is near miraculous I must say!

I'm about 70% through with the coloring, which means that this month I will complete the parody! Then, I'll send out the instructions to the voice actors.
I wish I could guarantee you that I will post this month, but it's more likely that it will be a tight squeeze at the beginning of March. Sometimes the "back and forth" with the voice actors can get a bit complex, but If there's any waiting involved, I'll take that time to put even more juicy secrets and Easter Eggs in the final video.

Man...let me tell you! Seeing Dark Eldering finally coming to life in colors has been sooo satisfying. You know how I tackled the coloring this time?
It's a process that I found to be very efficient: basically, I was coloring a specific location one day (characters included) and then I would switch to a completely different area, doing the same.
After a couple days, I would go back to the first location and see if I was satisfied with the colors. Sometimes it's good to switch gears and then go back to what you worked on previously to judge it with "fresher eyes". This method of tweaking the colors has done wonders for my workflow and that's why I was able to get stuff done so fast.
And so, after I'm satisfied with the colors, all it remains is to finish up what is left in that part of the cartoon, with the added confidence that you really were able to nail the vibes and atmosphere of the game.

In conclusion, thank you guys for sticking with me till the end, there will be just 3 animation streams left in the next few weeks before the release. I'll see you there, and I'll keep you posted closely on the progress now that we are at the finish line.
