Mythic Magazine #53
Greetings Mythicists! Welcome to the end of April. I hope your adventures are going well and your PC's haven't all skipped out on you to go play board games!
Speaking of board games ... this issue has an article that I've been thinking about for a long time. I got my start making solo games when I was a wee child, spending weekends lounging on the floor of my room scrawling out solo board games with paper and pencil. Now here's Mythic, playing board games!
This issue contains:
Discovery Prompts: Add an extra layer of meaning and context to Discovering Meaning by creating flavorful questions that inspire interesting answers.
Mythic As A Board Game Opponent: Mythic game mechanics are given a twist and applied to board games, any board game, allowing Mythic to fill the role of a player at your table.
Happy adventuring! :)
EDIT: A revised version of this issue was uploaded on May 16, 2025. It fixes an error on page 5, where an Adventure Creation Discovery Prompts element was listed twice.
