Common Issues and Possible Fixes

It has come to my attention that several users are having issues with my SDs. Please note that I am by no means an expert on KK, and that all of the reported issues so far affect certain users and not others, making it difficult to ascertain what caused them. That said, I have compiled a list of possible fixes that may hopefully alleviate some of these issues.

1. Update Hf Patch to the latest version. I am using v3.28 at the moment, which you can download here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/46339224. I know it's troublesome to do, but this will likely fix most of your issues. HF Patch is also required for animated expressions in my SDs to work.

2. If you are having issues with changing characters, you can try saving the scene after changing the character and loading it again to see if that fixes the issue.

Regarding issues with the characters' limbs,

3a. Make sure that all the Joint Adjustment settings (under the 'Anim' tab) are switched on.

3b. You can also try toggling FK & IK on and off

3c. You may be missing certain animation mods (e.g. "KK Sunshine animations" by Agishark) that are not included in HF Patch.

4. Regarding issues with character expressions not being animated:

4a. If the character you want to switch in is using "Headmod", changing to "Modified Headmod" (and vice versa) will sometimes fix the issue.

4b. If the character you want to switch in is using a custom headmod, then the expressions will not be transferred.

EXTRA: Tutorial on how to change headmod to Modified Headmod

1. Make sure you have already installed HF Patch

2. Launch Koikatsu main game (not Chara Studio). Click on Chara Maker

3. Select the character you want to change. In the "General" tab, click on Face Type

4. On the search bar, type in "modified". 'Modified Head' and 'Modified Headmod' should appear.

5. Try changing your character's Face Type to 'Modified Headmod' and save. Launch CharaStudio and see if the expressions are already fixed. If not, try 'Modified Head'.
