A Conversation with Ashley Alisha (prod. LOONA, GWSN, etc.) - Therapy Sessions Podcast #2

Here's a week early access to NEXT WEEK's podcast! I'm introducing a special segment on our Therapy Sessions podcast called "Asians Being Creative" where we highlight Asian and Asian American creators!

In this episode we sit down with AshleyAlisha aka Ashley Yoon who is a songwriter and music producer with credits that include making songs for Red Velvet, Lay, ACE and most recently "Growing for Groo" for GWSN, "Satellite" & "Curiosity" for LOONA, "Puzzle" "Deep Sea" & "Vogue" for Oh My Girl! We dive deep into the pitching and production process, her experience working as a K-Pop music producer and the story behind writing LOONA's "Satellite"! Enjoy!

And for those who sent in questions, we didn't get to ALL of them because 1) we ran into weird camera battery issues and 2) we had less time to film the podcast because we wound up shooting much later because Ashley was watching Endgame and didn't realize it was 3 hours LOL. Plus, some of your questions weren't applicable because I think most of you don't know what the production and song making process is actually like. Lucky for you, Ashley breaks it down in an informative way! But I loved talking with Ashley and we had a lot of fun chatting and laughing off camera so I'll be sure to bring her back and when we do, we'll ask her more of your questions!

In the meantime, enjoy this episode of Therapy Sessions!
