also I apologize bc it's not obvious from just this comic - Ford's not aware that Bill is hoping to get pregnant and he Does Not want them to have a kid. Bill had a tendency to cry after sex, so Ford interprets Bill to mean he's checking to see if he's okay emotionally. It's why he offers to hold him in the first place as this helps him get through the hormone crash. A certain some-author helped me work out an upcoming comic about aftercare with them.
