? RealCam – Preview Video (ATS)

This post includes an early preview video of the upcoming RealCam preset, recorded to better show how the preset behaves in motion, which is where it truly shines compared to still images.

RealCam is a dedicated camera-based preset designed to replicate real-world camera behavior, inspired by actual camera optics and my own interpretation of how camera work should feel inside ATS and ETS2. Because of this, it has been developed as a separate preset, rather than modifying existing ones.

In this preview video, you’ll be able to see:

• Natural exposure behavior across changing light conditions

• The overall tonal response of the dedicated RealCam tonemaps

• Different levels of camera distortion, which are far more noticeable and natural in motion

• How the preset reacts during real driving scenarios rather than static shots

Please keep in mind that this is still a preview, but the preset itself has already reached a stable base. Any final tweaks from here are minor refinements rather than structural changes.
