Technical Breakthrough
It's one thing to go through the manuals and do the exercise, but it's another thing, a much more rewarding thing, to apply these techniques in your own projects. I'm trying to get these renders to look as good as they can. I hit a bit of a road block when it came to Visola's jawline. She's my favorite and least favorite character. From certain angles, she looks fantastic to me. From other's, however, not so much. I've noticed that in certain, but not all shots, her jawline is too thick. It's forgivable. She is a Futa. Not the worst thing in the world to make her as masculine as an athletic woman. Still, I wanted to feminize her jawline a bit and at this stage of the project, it seemed impossible without starting from absolute scratch inside of DAZ Studio. Fortunately, the Liquify tool in Infinity Photo saved the day. With it, I can make hyper-realistic edits to the shape of her face in post-production! I can even accentuate her smile or diminish it convincingly, or at least as convincingly as I can in the 3D space. I've posted a before and after photo here so you can see an example. I love finding ways to speed up my workflow and add value to the content I put out there.
In other news, I've invested in an RTX 4090. It's on it's way. It will replace one of the two 3090's I'm working with. This will significantly speed up render times and workflow. I'll be able to dedicate more time to learning and improving my animation skills, while being able to crank out animations faster than ever.
