?️ UPDATE: Lost Lagoon [v.0.4.2] ?️

Hey Patrons,

It’s time for the public release of the January update!

A lot of systems, quests, and progression paths have been reworked to make the game feel more cohesive and immersive, while also adding a few new scenes, maps, and mechanics.

I originally wanted to include much more content for you, but I got sick (nothing serious) and had to take a short development break. Nonetheless, I still wanted to provide you with the new content that’s already playable...so here it is!

? EDIT: A serious bug has been fixed between Early Access and public release, where revival via the Phoenix Feather caused movement direction to become blocked.

? IMPORTANT NOTE – SAVE FILES
Old saves are not compatible this time (yes…I know but I couldn't avoid it <.<). But don't worry! This time I’ve included three prepared save files so you can jump in where you want:

• Save 6 – Start at Chapter 1 (introduction skipped)

• Save 7 – Start at Chapter 2 (after cleansing Volupta’s shrine)

• Save 8 – Start at Chapter 3 (after retrieving the Earth Artefact)

This way you can freely explore the reworked content without replaying everything from scratch.

? What’s New in This Update

? Scenes & Love Events

• Ava & Nura Love Event – Level 3

• Goblina Scene (Main Quest related)

• Red Slime Princess is back!

?️ Maps & World Design

• "New" dungeon: Goblin Mine

• Dark Forest improved to be more interactive and engaging

• New area map: Desert (WIP – more coming later)

? Quest Restructuring (Major Changes)

The Main Quest and many Side Quests were restructured to improve flow, logic, and immersion.

Main Quest Changes

• Scarlett now opens the Sewer Gates after defeating the Nymph in the Meadowlands

• Helping Zephyra and her little friend is now required to access the Earth Temple

• “Shrine Cleansing” is now integrated directly into the Main Quest

• “Boulder Problem” is now integrated directly into the Main Quest

Side Quest Changes

• “A Day in the Village” → “The Women of the Village”

  • Includes interactions with all village women

  • Unlocks daily tasks (see Job Board)

• “Spooky Affairs” can now be started earlier if you wish

• Other Side Quests and Love Events were restructured for better pacing and consistency

⚙️ Mechanics & Systems

---New STAT System---

The old stat system didn’t really make sense anymore, so it’s been replaced:

• Combat – weapon-related skills (attack, breaking objects, etc.)

• Agility – body-related skills (jumping, swimming, etc.)

• Survival – cooking, fishing, and similar skills

• Divinity – protective and divine abilities

• Sorcery – all kinds of magic (teleport, curses, etc.)

• Charme – flirting and H-event related skills

---Combat System Updates---

• One general shoot level instead of individual weapon levels

• Weapon change hotkey added: "E"

---New Job Board---

• Find information about daily tasks here

• Instead of just skipping time by sleeping or resting, you can now:

  • Do daily tasks for the women of the village

  • Earn special items, recipes, and gold

---Mining System---

• Use your Pickaxe to mine ores in caves and other locations

• Ores and diamonds will be tradable for better weapons and armor in a later update

?️ Items & Equipment

• Monstergirl Encyclopedia

  • Provides information about encountered monster girls

  • Will be expanded gradually

• Power Bracelet (Armor) - gives you incredible strength!

• Slime Gloves (Armor) – found in the Sewers

• Slime Helmet (Armor) – found in the Goblin Mine

✨ Miscellaneous

• Various visual improvements across the game

? Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue where triggered monster girl scenes could affect the Phoenix Feather revival effect

This update lays a further foundation for future content by cleaning up progression, quests, and systems while still adding new things to discover right now.
