Battle Royal

THIS IS A CLASSIC

While working in Blockbuster many moons ago, a friend recommended I watch this Japanese movie called Battle Royale. Now, at the time I was not very keen to watch a movie with subtitles (not knowing what I was missing out on) So I reluctantly took the video home and watched it..... what happened next changed the way I watch films. I was completely taken aback by how amazing this film was. It also became the start of my obsession with foreign film!

As always, I don't want to give anything away for those of you who have not seen it. This film I would say, is more of an adventure/thriller than all out horror. It also has a very serious message throughout the storyline.
It's kinda like the original Hunger Games but on steroids
