Leaf Patch

Before Elven scouts undertook dangerous missions, their loved ones would embroider these leaves onto their cloaks for protection. As time and love endured, some cloaks would be covered with as many leaves as the trees themselves.

I always wish I had the skill to sew and embroider. I think it is such a beautiful art form, one that takes time and patience but results in such beauty. I’m especially a fan of natural patterns and forms in needlework.

I like the idea of this item being a downtime hobby - something that characters while away the long nights by campfire, slowly adding another patch onto their clothing.
