This episode was another tear jerker, this time just the emotional conversations between Joel and Ellie who are now are findnig themselves sharing the connection between a father daughter duo but not actuallly admitting to it. These are times where it is harder to trust because the main goal is just to survive. There is so much death around that it's almost better to stop any emotional attachments before they start. Joel is finding himself more and more fearful that he will once again fail to protect &  lose someone who relied on him especially a daughter figure. Ellie has never had any parents or siblings and finds herself falling into the role of needing a parent around and human connection. and does not want to feel abandoned over & over again. Watch and see how I react to what unfolds in this episode which is completely about kin. Is Joel really dead?
