Monday Milestones: Week of November 27th, 2023

We find ourselves at the beginning of a new week! We hope that the scientists that had a holiday last week enjoyed delicious meals, because here comes the dev dessert~

  • Replace current spline system with new, in-sequencer ai movement system
  • Change majority of sequences to accommodate for new animation slot system
  • Making sure that either I or badguy retarget all animations to work in new system
  • Gonna see if Chapter 07 needs more work in Animations and jump on that if needed.
  • Practice and Work with the new NPC Pipeline for how we approach the Scenes.

TL;DR: Big animation system overhaul

  • Combat (Got the basics some what functional. Want to make it a lot prettier and functional. Also need to use the slot system.)
  • Fix the project code wise when it comes to the major character reparent/animbp changes.
  • fix mission map skip thingie think I saw an issue?

  • Continue the Melody Dating Timeline stuff. I have the ideas and general outline down, just need to review and fully flesh them out.
  • Start on Sub-Chapter 16, which will be the first sub-chapter where we introduce the girls' dating timelines as well as other side mission.

  • Trimming and uploading sessions from past 2 weeks into engine for sandbox and story
  • Preparing scripts for enemy encounters
  • Finalizing December session scheduling for our creatures and enemies

  • On vacation!

  • Test some possible outfit design for the Portal human
  • Start modeling the Portal human Outfit
  • Possible UV start process on the outfit
  • Modeling outfits for Muffin

  • Applying anim research project into the main Melody project
  • Rigging and weighting Witch
  • Adding IK system for hand/finger placement in sandbox
