ACTION! - Process Video + PSD File + New Props Board

Initially, I wanted to do something with corn, but while looking at references, I saw pictures of popcorn, which immediately made me think of movies and cinema, two concepts that are relatable in some way and were the perfect match.

Because I wanted to create a very eccentric character, my first choice was an actor or celebrity of some kind. However, I thought it would be difficult to convey the 'cinema' concept without additional work involving characters or props. Therefore, I decided to focus on a 'director' like character. It's true that directors don’t have a specific outfit, but most of them share some common tools like a cap, sunglasses, and a bit of sporty energy. By keeping some of these symbols, along with a few extra props like cameras and a director's chair, I think the concept becomes clear.

Once that was no longer a problem, I simply emphasized the popcorn shapes and colors throughout the main character. I was aiming for a very crazy look set in a very hot place. This combination of weird ideas with symbols, I believe, nailed what I was looking for, which was originality. I hope you enjoy the process video and file.
