The Gorge

"The torrential flow of water chiseled away at the stone like a knife through a slice of mutton, if one were patient enough to watch for lifetimes. Each decade, the chasm grew just the slightest bit deeper, and the smallest bit wider. During the rain seasons and winter thaw it was near impassable, the foliage and trees could be stripped away at a moment's notice. But during the dry seasons, it's winding tunnel network was used by many a traveler.

Such holes had been dug through the mountain's innards as to resemble an insect burrow, with several openings providing a truly breathtaking view. Waterfalls, higher than the tallest tower, crashing water down into the river below. A constant mist, which played with the light of day in such a fashion that an aurora of colors would paint themselves across the air just in front of you, but always just out of reach.

While in it's majesty the great falls attracted many a visitor, many have also perished in the tunnel depths. As miraculous a place as it was, the deeper into the mountain one would traverse, the less likely their travels would be peaceful. One should never dig too deep, lest the darkness find it's way to the light"

Hey all!

It's been awhile but I am making your maps I promise! It's just been one of those months with a lot of travelling and unwanted illness but we're getting back on track.

So for the first of 3 this month is this lovely gorge for your players to go rafting in, I'm sure it'll be a very pleasant experience with no excessive amounts of bludgeoning damage, downing or horrible monsters trying to pull them underwater.
