[2 new Swords episodes]

"Gazebo Head" is a character I designed a really long time ago (2009? Earlier?) and I thought about how with AI slowly filling up the internet, the best thing to do is explore what makes Swords authentically weird all on its own. It sort of backfired because everyone thought I was ripping off a Gazebo Mimic that is a DnD meme, so I guess I'll try harder next time.

I have been working on the Choplet's Dungeon RPG Maker game, because I said I would.

Everyone I know is at GenCon (Thane and Stacey from Swords: Cut the Deck; Jason from Cats Vs. Humans, Peter from Dungeon Tryouts; plus half a dozen webcomic artists and an old flame) so I'm feeling very left out! Travelling to the US in the current climate feels out of the question and its my loss. I promised you all I would complain less, so please understand that I am just feeling my feelings and not venting, which is totally a real thing and it counts.

Karen at Palmerston North Armageddon has copies of Cut the Deck in the board-gaming area if you're there this afternoon, including an open copy to try out.

I have made a big list of daily tasks to achieve in August to have a "perfect month", including no sugar, more water, 8k steps a day and 30 other things like that. I'm on Day 3 with mostly positive outcomes. I feel exhausted without any sugar though, and without it to balance out the caffeine I'm quite off-balance.

I've been applying for a wider scope of jobs because the competition is just too high to stay in my usual lane. If you can give me any fresh leads I'd appreciate it.
