[2 new Swords episodes]

I've included an episode draft that I got told is too similar to a Spongebob gag.

The episode "Happy Endings" was just a sort of little continuity reward for long-term, detail orientated readers. Most people were confused, annoyed, thought it was Loss or thought it was a sex joke. It's just an episode from Swords seasons 1, 2, 3 and 4 getting a bonus panel and there is no deeper meaning to any of it.

The Choplet burst is over and we've dropped from 18th place on Patreon to 26th. We gave it a good go! It's important to keep reminding myself that some meme'ery to revive Choplet has nothing to do with my self-worth, I have comics to keep making and this was just a sort of preview of what heights the series is capable of in the long term.

TheImmortalThinkTank, who, as you know, has helped me make DnD rules for Choplet, his friends and a bunch of Swords in the past, is trying to reach a cool milestone of 50 patrons (42/50 complete). I have a meeting this week with someone I really don't like and it has been affecting my mood. I'm going to try to stay as neutral as possible because he will try to start a fight and if I raise my voice a single decibel unwillingly, he will use it as a narrative to say I'm being unreasonable. It's like trying to diffuse a bomb that insists that no, you're the bomb actually and also if that original bomb blows up, so what, it was meant to, that's what bombs do.

I had a really deliberately peaceful, unproductive day this week where I listened to white noise for hours and forgave myself for some things that were keeping me wound-up... all for it to be wrecked the next day by some external chaos. But that, of course, is a self-defeating narrative and I don't need to marry those two events together either! I've got a long way to go.

My leaky roof got fixed. My office feels like a safe place to be productive again.

I've been experiencing some pretty bad time-blindness lately. It's Expedition 33's fault because I've stayed up until 5am playing it without even noticing and then paying for it the next day by being tired.

I have been working on my portfolio some more - thanks for all the feedback! Keep it coming! My dry-as-a-desert personality might come through a bit too hard in some places.

I'm fighting end-game optional bosses in Expedition 33. Dr. Stone has started up again, I'm keeping up with Rick and Morty and I watched The Machinist.
