The story here is the WornDown Children recording a music video and having fun with an old video camera they found that had a super wide angle lense so they're going all retro.

This is a thing I've been working on during breaks for some time, not a lot of time but like a week.

I was going for a cartoonier looser style in the lines with this. Same with the coloring which originally wasn't going to be shadowless but I ended up adding them but in a simpler style. It is inspired in the first 2 parts of JoJo's bizarre adventure anime where outside the face the characters' shadows are done in simple geometric lines but I still overdid it a bit in some parts.

Zara here is giving a really silly look that I love. If you look in the timelapse you'll see that at various points I tried a different face for her but I never came up with one I liked better.

The background here is a combination I did on my head of a two floor art classroom from my college, a train station close to where I live and the second floor of an abandoned squash court where you can watch the game behind the house of an uncle of mine. In universe I think it may be a classroom in the old city art center that has been mentioned before in the comics. I think the WDC asked for permission to record there and got it.

Really I just wanted to draw them playing. Lol
