Ada Side View

Haaaaaaaaai How's everyone's week going?

I'm sad to say I don't have any animation I can share exactlyyyy but that doesn't mean that I didn't do any animation this week. Most of the animation I did this week is kinda less interesting stuff to showcase, such as the lip sync, stomach bulges (look quite odd out of context) and was trying a bunch of new stuff with the tentacle animation. I did the tentacles with one technique that I liked well enough for the first scene but wanted to try out a couple of things, some worked out, some didn't but in the end we got there and I'm super duper excited to see how those elements will all integrate together.

A side view scene was needed for the (yesss spoiler) all-the-way-through scene! The rig is now about 80% done, just a bit of small things to take care of, but by Monday I'll be into the animation. I added in a few extra shots that my boards didn't have cause I wanted this part of the film to have just a lil more sparkle and continuity, plus I really loved how the side view turned out so I may have gotten a bit carried away with adding some things to it but I think you guys are really going to enjoy it!

It's always fun to see a spreadsheet at the beginning of the project all labeled with red (meaning "not yet done") and it progresses along, seeing it slowly fill in with more and more green! (meaning "done!")
