My Dog Passed Away

Over the weekend my dog Misha stopped eating and despite still taking medicine acted like she was in more pain. Took her to the vet on Monday and they confirmed her cancer spread and caused acute liver failure. At her age there was nothing they could do to fix it and she was beyond where medicine could help her be comfortable. So I made the hard decision to have her put to sleep to end her suffering. She was about 13-14 years old (shelter wasn’t positive on her age when I adopted her over a decade ago).

I’m not okay. I just lost my grandmother and now my dog too. I can’t take much more of this. Your patience will be appreciated while I deal with this rough time in my life.
