Cherry Pop

The next pic of this month is the Duo Poll winner, Evan Buckley & Tommy Kinard (from 911).

For anyone unfamiliar with the show, it’s largely centred around hot firefighters being generally hot… and presumably that’s all the incentive any of us really need… ?

I must admit, this pair make quite a cute couple - I may have to get back into the show myself!!

I started out on this one building on the style I’ve been using lately, however part of the way through, I tried something a bit different with my lines and removed a lot of them after the colouring had been done. This is usually something I’d associate with a more painted/blended look, but for some reason I wanted to see how it would look on a more comic-style colouring finish. I quite liked it so I kept going that way and I’m pretty pleased with where it ended up.

You Beasts will of course have some variants here, such as versions with alternate backgrounds (I tried out quite a few ?) and you’ll also see versions with different levels of mess, plus all of the usual stuff of course (4K versions, timelapses, work files etc). ?
