May 2025 Sticker Reveal!

Happy Monday, my lil bookworms!

The result of the May sticker poll worked out extremely in favor of "Argyle," and I always knew I wanted to do something nerdy and bookish for it. I figured I'd give my brain a little break and focus more on a simple concept rather than something elaborate (especially since it's a fair bit late in the month), and I'm happy with the result!

Where the ambition comes in was an attempt to mimic legendary Mario artist Yoichi Kotabe's gorgeous airbrush-style rendering, something that was actually quite challenging to do in Adobe Illustrator. I feel pretty good about the results! Kotabe's beautiful work has been one of the most influential things on me creatively, and it was so much fun to pay homage to him in a small way here. I'll probably do it again sometime!
