The Newsblade ~ Out Of Order

No new comics this week - my Surface Pro 8 keyboard has stopped reliably connecting to the device and it's the only way to charge the pen. I'm typing this on the touch screen and it's painful.

If you're a cool dude you can throw $3 towards a new one, but don't feel obligated (especially if you're a patron already). Of course the road to Episode 1000 would have some more road-bumps. We should have known! Khaaaaan!

This is my punishment for all the late nights getting the Platinum trophy in Expedition 33, which is an amazing game and you should all play it. I'd go on about it, but everything is a spoiler, it's that good.

The latest Rick and Morty was also a great episode. I'm staying regular with Dr Stone and Panty & Stocking Season 2 as well.

There is a monster-catching game engine similar to RPG maker coming out on Steam this year, so I'm thinking of making a Haunted House roguelike and taking bribes donations to determine the designs of all the monsters. I think it'd be fun to have 3 elemental variants for each Starter too, so you always pick the element you want, but the monster options won't always be the same.

Cut The Deck is still available to order, but only NZ/AU orders will be shipping for the next 3 weeks. The game is 85% fulfilled and the team need a break. You can still reach out if you want to pick up your copy at Gen Con.

I wouldn't mind taking the opportunity to upgrade to a big Wacom on a desktop - in the long-run it might be better for my hands and eyes and spine. So I'm open to suggestions about the best setup I can put together in New Zealand.
