Omni-Man

It’s time for the first pic of the month, Omni-Man (from Invincible)!! ?

I got some ideas and visuals stuck in my head and needed to get them onto paper (well, it’s all digital, but you get what I mean… ?).

First off, yes, Superman’s gladiator costume was an inspiration here (that recent comic scene with Jon & Lois was everything!! ?).

I also introduced a couple of my older comic-style techniques in the colouring here to bring it all together, then waved goodbye to my sanity as I added the body hair… there may be a faster way to do that, but I’ve not found it yet!! ?

Overall, pretty pleased with the outcome here - I think it really picks up the vibe I was aiming for!! ?

I was a bit unsure at first on what to do for the background, and then I accidentally did a thing and it inspired me to try a comic panel type of setup… as with most things, you Beasts will find a few different variants of backgrounds (including reworks of some familiar favourites)…
