X Academy Bimbofied [PROGRESS]

Status update for X Academy: Bimbofied #1:

• I've begun the shading process. This is faster than the linework stage, but I would expect fully shading 60 pages will take me to the weekend if not longer. This is a fairly detail and background-heavy chapter compared to many of my works, so elements like desks or chairs need attention, not just people.

• As you can see, I'm experimenting with a slight purple overlay on the shading, since that's Psylocke's primary color and I think it gives the art a little extra personality. One patron who I shared this idea with suggested perhaps the pages can become more pink as the story progresses, reflecting Psylocke's bimbofication. I may play with that and se if it works.

• After shading is dialogue, which is always a fun and fairly swift stage, which will probably take me thru the weekend to Monday.

• I may or may not do a full-color cover for this chapter. I feel like it kinda deserves it and it's become the standard for my new comics but I'm impatient to release this one. If I do a color cover that may add a day or so to production.

• As always take these estimates with a grain of salt, as I tend to deliver early when I'm in the final stages of a project. We'll see!
