Milly Alcock Supergirl [Pin-Up]

First post of the new year!

While I was away I caught a headline about the upcoming Supergirl movie starring Milly Alcock. I think this is particularly good casting. I receive a lot of requests for Milly art, mostly from House of the Dragon, and I've declined so far. But the actress has a very distinctive look, so I thought I'd give it a try.

I've been particularly inspired by the work of David Nakayama of late, as well as Adam Hughes (as always). I'm constantly striving to improve my shading style and move closer to the kind of beautiful work Hughes and Nakayama are capable of.

This piece is pretty tame, but I really just wanted to have fun with the costume design, facial likeness, and the tantalizing skirt. Working on Supergirl again made me think about doing a new Whores of Darkseid chapter as well. I've been planning a Supergirl chapter for a long time, and if this pin-up hits, maybe that will convince me now is the time to revisit that project.

After all, it's a new year, and I need some new projects to work on.
