The Back Log, vol. 69 - Nice.
... is how I'd describe our new merch piece!
We did it, chat. We made it to the big number. The big celebration. The big, exciting moment. A number we will never reach again, so I pray you enjoy this fleeting moment while it lasts.
Something less fleeting (yet still time-limited) is our latest Merch Pocket design - the Back Pocket Tarot! We're super pumped about this design in particular, so much so that we wanted to get it announced to you guys as soon as we had it ready. This means you've got plenty of time to join up at the Merch Pocket tier and get it!
This particular design covers the months of February, March and April, so as long as you join the Merch Pocket tier at any time during that from now until the end of April, and then stay there for a total of three consecutive months, you'll be sent a link to grab yours when the time comes.
I know the merch system can be a bit confusing, so I try and make it as clear as I possibly can, but because I saw an extra bunch of excitement in chat on this one when it was revealed last Thursday - if you have any questions at all about eligibility, please feel free to chuck me a DM either here on Patreon, or preferably over on Discord.
Speaking of last Thursday, let's talk about it, shall we?

Back Pocket feat. the return of Natalisea
The extremely kind and yet deceptively devious Twitch streamer Natalisea was back on the couch this week, and she brought with her some fantastically delivered thoughts on Kingdom Come Deliverance II, in a What We've Been Playing that also featured Dark Hours, HUMANITY and yes, the Call of Duty Black Ops 6 TMNT DLC. Truly, the broadest range of games to talk about. And to fill out that range even more, we did a demo dive into the most recent Steam Next Fest, covering the likes of Ruffy & the Riverside, Is This Seat Taken?, Tempopo and Haste: Broken Worlds. That's a lot of games! Perhaps you'd want to hear about even more? Well great, because before all that, at the start of the show, we went through all the coolest announcements from the most recent Annapurna games showcase as well! But if you don't like all that game chat, then you'll also find a new segment we trialled in this episode as well - The Good, The Bad and The Okay! So, something for everyone (but particularly if you like video games, which frankly, I hope you all do).

THIS WEEK ON BACK POCKET
Lo and behold, right this very moment, Ruby is finishing up some of her Next Fest demos she's been planning on playing, including one she's apparently in herself!
And speaking of things Ruby is a part of, this week's guest is none other than our favourite Scot Mark Serrels, who recently published a children's book - one that Ruby illustrated!

Monster Hunter is the talk of the town at the moment, and rightly so - I spent most of my weekend hunting and carving up those monsters, all to make delightful armor sets that can show off just how good I am at killing things. Ok... when I put it like that, it's a little bit more concerning. But hey, over 1 million players on Steam tells me that there's definitely no ethical concerns to be had here... right? Right, guys?
